The weekend's almost here

The weekend is nearly here, but... it seems that my free time this weekend may be less free than I might think.

There will be yet another concert for my summer of concerts with my daughter.  I'm again looking forward to the show, though I have some concerns that the weather might not cooperate for this show.  I hope the weather guys are wrong and that the weekend stays fairly clear and T-storm free, but we'll see.  I'd rather the light show at the concert come from the stage and not from the clouds if you know what I mean.

The other weekend day will find me busy working on my dad's laptop again.  He was, yet again, apparently victimized by a browse-by malware program that he hasn't yet been able to remove.  I'm not sure I can really remove it, or that I'll even put that much effort into it.  My intention is to upgrade his laptop to Windows 7 and be sure the security settings for it are appropriate so that he is less likely to be a victim of such issues.

The same day I'll be taking my daughter's new pup to the vet for it's 2nd shot and a quick check-up.  Hopefully that goes fairly quickly.

At some point down the road I might actually get to have a quiet weekend, but for now it seems that the free time is anything but :p
