When dealing with an image in Photoshop...

...There sometimes are two small gray rectangular boxes (one with a number and the other with an envelope-looking icon) in the upper left-hand corner of the image canvas. When Im working on a small image, (cursor for example) these boxes get in the way quite often. How do I get rid of them?

go to view a unselect the extras option
