We're getting a Big Ass Map!!! Thanks Brad :)

That's one big damn map lol

Well, I know what's going up on the bedroom wall next month. Might annoy the wife a little..lol. Oh well. This is apparently the map that ships with Elemental. Found this video while poking around YouTube and subscribed to Draginol's (Frogboy's)channel. Here's the video so everyone else can see. Maybe Frogboy posted it already and I missed it. If not, how come you didn't show us this already chief? This thing is Sweet!!!

Definitely Wall Sized!!! Thank You Stardock :). I already consider my purchase of Elemental (Collectors) to be money WELL SPENT.

P.S.S. This means my Pewter Dragon will rival the size of my car right? Maybe I can use it as a lawn statue to scare people }:)   ;)

I'm a collector of useless crap...LoL. Granted, it's cool crap. :) You never know, Elemental might be the game that seriously launches Stardock into the Big Time and maybe in the future one of these maps or figurines might be worth big bucks. You never know. ;)

You should see my comic book collection

Hehe. :D Well now that I think about it...I mostly buy games on the net [digital download], but I have a couple of boxed games as well...I never, ever touched "my" game manuals..in fact I don't know that what is supposed to be in the boxes at all...I just removed the CDs/DVDs and that's it. Ehhh.

That could be a good thing though as some of them might be individually wrapped inside the boxes. If so, leave them that way, it increases the value :). I've never been able to keep things in the original wrappers. I'm the "take them out and display them" type of guy, which isn't really good for "collectors value", heh. I like getting some kind of use out of the stuff I spend money on, even if it just sits there looking cool. If that's not important to you though, definitely keep them wrapped up. Maybe in 10 years you'll be able to eBay them for a lot of money ;).

Lol... I have the biggest collection of tobacco pipes, water pipes, opium pipes, bongs, and so forth than anyone I've ever met. The irony? I've never puffed anything more dangerous than an asthma inhaler.

I love junk, especially exotic, foreign junk. Ceremonial kukris to Samoan cricket bats. I've hardly bought any of it. They were all given to me by various diplomats over the ages.

The real one will be Cloth Raven so it should not crease, and if it does, get the wife to Iron the thing flat yourself before mounting.

It has to fit in the Box... LOL ;)

Thats what I was thinking. I was expecting canvas, and that doesn't look like canvas, but it may just be the video.

Also, that pewter dragon picture doesn't show scale at all. I'd really like to know how big the dragon figurine is.

Indeed. I saw that while watching the video above :). Cloth is better for tacking to the wall anyway :)

Watch the video until the end. They end up taking two maps out of that box. The first one is paper, the second one is cloth.

I can't speak for him, but I know that I saw the whole video and was referring to the second map they pulled out looking paper like. However, I will once again say that it may just be the video.

Ahh. I thought maybe you missed the second map entirely. My bad.

Edit: I think it's supposed to look like a piece of parchment, so it looking like a piece of paper was how it was meant to look :)

Oh yeah, the chick who pulled out the cloth map was pretty hot too. If I was a millionaire who owned my own game company I'd stock the place slap full of hot chicks too, if just for eye candy if not anything else lol.

Canvas can easily be mistaken for paper.
