I love Enya.<3 <3 <3

It's especially good if you want to calm down or just sort of meditate a little bit.

For me it also works as background noise.....

Once, a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away when I still played WoW before any of the expansions, I put on my Enya playlist over Vent during an evening clear of Zul'Gurub (we were easily farming it, so communication during fights wasn't necessary, everyone knew what to do). Afterwards, everyone said it was the more relaxing raid they've ever done. Win!

I listen to Enya all the time when I do surgery. It's great background music for complex tasks. Can't say I listen to her otherwise, though.

Whenever i think of enya i remember the old ansett australia ad's when that airline still existed

Love the music, though the add i remember was about 2 minutes long with no noise other than enya's music.
...and this is coming from someone obsessed with heavey bass dance tracks:P

I used to have huge halo parties at my house. When people started throwing controllers i would put on enya. It was very calming, and went surprisingly well with all the gunshots and explosions.

Follow up with some Dead Can Dance tracks without lyrics. It won't get you back to the testosterone tones of the Conan soundtrack, but they'll definitely encourage an Elemental frame of mind.

They use to play a lot of strange music back when it came test time back in my grade school. We had a particularly odd teacher/coach who decided to play Enya when it was his turn to monitor them. For 5 hours straight.

If i woke up and heard that playing I would immediately assumed I died on the table and Satan is far far faaar crueler than I could have imagined.

If we're going for Lyric-less relaxation, I'll throw in a recommendation for Amethystium.

Isn't smoking more relaxing and less dangerous to your health?

Who can say where the road goes? Where the day flows? Only time.

Shame on you frogboy. It is a slippery slope. First Enya, next thing you know you are using emoticons and getting manicures.

I associate enya with traveling to some distant fantasy realm...especially caribbean blue.. so soothing...

Oh and hevia is cool too..

And then one day you wake up and realize you've been playing Farmville.
