Just a bit over 24 hours and counting...

I've been waiting (im)patiently for tomorrow to get here and well, the point that I've been waiting for is finally, almost, here.  Just over 24 hours (from the point I'm posting this) for another concert that I've been waiting for ever since it was announced and I was able to buy the tickets for it.  My daughter and I are both looking forward to it and will (hopefully) be finding our way to our seats about this time tomorrow evening.  The only bad part is that the current weather forecast calls for oppressive heat again tomorrow, with a heat index of approx. 100+ degrees.  Ugh.

I expect the tunes will be great, but staying cool while listening to them may not be that easy.  The beer and soft drink vendors will be happy as they'll likely have a busy day.  The concert goer's wallets, on the other hand, may not be so fat after the show.

Oh well... it's only one day to sit and suffer in the heat.  I'd wish for rain (as we can still use a good bit of it in my area), but then again I really dislike being soaking wet at a concert.  Been there, done that, and it leaves me feeling grimy and disgusting.
