windowblinds skinning

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to make the clock on the taskbar a different color than the system text color, i know it says you can chnage it in the clock properties but it seems to me that every time i change the system color and font the same thing happens to the clock!! Any ideas you have would be appreciated!!

If you have SkinStudio, you can open the skin and set the clock font and font color.

I do, and I have tried that, it does not work, it shows up like it will work in skin studio, but when I load a blind, it is the same as the system text color and size!!

You mean when you load up a different blind or the one you changed the clock font color in?

Hmm, I haven't gotten that. Are you, by any chance, using an older version of WB or SS? I don't know if that was an issue or not in earlier versions, just shooting in the dark.

i just downloaded the new skin studio, had the old one v3.0, i dont know if it's me or what. on my earlier skins it didn't happen, or maybe i just have too many settings going on?? also same kinda thing ahppens with the pull down menu on the task bar it is not the same as i would like it to be, there is three sections for the menus, and it just don't seem to match up, maybe i should go back to v3..

Every time a new version of SS comes out, I feel almost like I'm relearning the program.

The setting is in the navigation tree under ...system tray...clock...look to the right and you should be able to specify color and font. The mistake I made in the past was not setting both color settings(Normal wb3x and Normal)I have SS 3.0.0 and WB4.

Aaah, see in the the ss beta 4 its say you don't need both settings, but you do!! Thank you very much!
