Unless there is a way I'm not aware of, after a city levels up and you assign a bonus (20% Research, Money, etc) there is no way to see what you assigned to a given city. It would be nice if it were added in the city details or in the Kingdom Info button in some way.
On a related note (they may have already changed this in 3B, but I didn't see it in the changelog), it would be nice you could see an overview of the city while that specialization screen is up. Sometimes the screen took me off guard and I wasn't sure which city I was choosing a specialization for. If that isn't changed, I'll have to name my cities with specialization in mind from the beginning to serve as a reminder when the screen pops up.
Ohh thank you, that was another gripe I had about a city leveling up but forgot to add it to my post!
+1 to both seeing a settlement stats before having to assign a specialisation and to being able to see what specialisations have already been applied.
PS: It'd be nice to see the settlement too as there may be improvements that I plan to add that would benefit from a particular specialisation.
I believe there used to be a way to see this. I can't remember when I was last able to do it since I haven't played in 4-5 months. That option might be lost since 1.0... not sure.
I'm just confounded as to why it disappeared.
Just go into the city screen. Click on on something like gilder or research. It will show the bonus there.
Would be nice to have something on the main city screen so you didn't have to dig for it.

they could do it simple
if i picked
20% gil on 1st level
then next level should have a
Pick one
40% gold
20% tech
20% arcane
or could even be
gold 20 % +(20% current)
tech 20
arcane 20
(the numbers are just numbers i dont recall the exact bonus you get)
