Deep and Reaching Roots

As I start my post

I look for….

I reach out….

I give no opion

Of anything to say

I state my case

And everyone treats me like I’m gay

Maybe I should have had the cue

That Turning things around…

Takes deep and reaching roots

But from the first insult

I don’t know why,

Giving people the freedom to define

Only depresses me

I affirm my directions a million times a day

But not getting them to paper….

I affirm my Logic

I affirm my ways

But only a Percent make it to page

If you felt you understood a song

And wanted it to play

And hit the button

And the feeling went away

Hitting play was an affirmation to god

That you gave it your best today!
