Wearing boxer shorts as an outfit.

Wearing boxer shorts as an outfit.

So I've been running every couple days and been wearing boxers and a t-shirt as an outfit. The boxers are comfy as hell, and don't chafe me or force my posture anywhere. However the shirt has been bugging me, and dragging all up on my shoulders. So I'm gonna ditch the shirt and just wear the boxers. Any thoughts on that?...... can I get arrested or anything? I'm gonna do it anyways just cause I want and need to be comfortable, but sometimes it seems like society is pretty shallow when it comes to these things. I guess I'm just crying out for support, but any thought are welcome. But anyone else do that though? wear boxers as an outfit that is?

That's good to hear... wouldn't wanna be here on my own dealing with boxer wearing joggers and their unfettered junk bouncing around all over the place.  I suffer badly with insomnia as it it... so I'd need some professional medical advice to help me sleep after being subjected to such a mental image.  And don't gimme any of that "take a reflex hammer in your left hand, your head in your right hand and strike head with hammer" stuff.  Last time I tried that I ended up with a broken reflex hammer and a pharmacy bill for the headache pills.

Yeah, I thought I saw a thread going the wrong way... so I pulled it and my pants fell down.

And you modest???  You're the most brazen karma whore I've ever had the pleasure to meet. ;P

Dude...seriously, I don't know how old you are and regardless of what forum topic this is under...why in some god's name are you even asking this question here...or anywhere else for that matter? Wear them...don't wear them...it's pretty simple. If you wear them outside and get caught...then it just sucks to be you.

I have a health issue that makes it extremely uncomfortable to wear snug shirts or shorts...so I just buy the biggest size I can find...just short of wearing a tent. But I certainly don't need to ask anyone their opinion about my attire. No offense...but if your not mature enough to make your own decision concerning your attire you've got issues beyond that and maybe your shopping in the wrong department.

It has nothing to do with making my decision. I've made my decision, and I feel pretty mellow now. Its occasionally a sensitive issue to me as it was when I made the thread. I just wanted some feedback as I'm a sensitive guy sometimes. I'm twenty years old now, not that its anyone's business. As far as issues...... we all have them, even the people who love to tear other people down, or perhaps especially those people.

OK, HERE's an idea...why don't you get a treadmill, and run indoors, wearing whatever the heck you want to as long as the shades are drawn.  I totally understand the need to be comfortable when working out, which is why, since I live in Florida, I own indoor exercise equipment...and lots of fans, because I dislike my face getting sweaty, and quite frankly, I don't want my neighbors seeing me working out--that's a treat only my husband needs to see.

I lived by that philosophy for years. I had a treadmill and I worked out on it. I got rid of it though, because I don't really treadmills that much. They hurt my feet, or at least the few I have tried do. I still do ride an indoor bike a lot but I alternate between that and my hill running. I like to get a little bit sun a day, it seems to be good for the skin, so if its not my day to run, I stretch in the backyard.

Its not only the fact that my feet hurt. I feel like the steepness of a hill offers me a chance to work my legs in a way that is more healthy to me. Nowadays I have chronic tendinitis in my knees and I cant jump off one foot with any kind of lift or sans pain. Running on flat areas or downhill also cause pain, and a lot of wear. I find that on a hill I can run at any speed, and feel good. . Also I'm more comfortable sprinting or running backwards on a hill then I am a moving platform. I feel like what Ive been doing lately has been working as, I'm starting get more strength in my knees and I can do things without pain; things that I couldn't do before.

No problem bud. I'm 56...And it wasn't my intention to tear you down. I just found this question or inquiry to be very odd. It's generally speaking not the type of thing one should have to question. Unless of course you had no parental supervision. Underwear are not intended to be worn outside your home or your pants regardless of your intentions. There are literally tons of garments created specifically for what you want to do that address your concerns...underwear is not one of them. I can't say it any clearer than that. ;)

When you talk about the Internet "strange" people is about as strange as you can get...and quite undesirable.

If not for the fact that we all already know WG is strange this could have been construed as a personal attack  ;) ;) :-" :-" :-" :-" :-"

Remember...on the Net, every 13 year old boy is actually an FBI agent under-cover....and every 13 year old girl is really a 350lb trucker called 'Bubba'.

OP, seriously, be careful. Depending on what state you're in it "could" be considered indecent exposure. All it would take is for just One Kid to say he saw something "pop out" of your boxers, whether something actually popped out or not, and you'll be a registered sex offender for the rest of your life and looked at as a child molester. If you must wear boxers to go jogging, make SURE there's NO POSSIBLE WAY for anything to pop out. That way if a cop or someone does say something you can say "Well who-ever says they saw that is a Liar. Look, there's not even a hole for anything to pop out from!!!". As we know, most boxers have that slit in the front for easy access to take a piss. Just be careful, man.

Yeah, put the boxers on the sewing machine and sew the slit up... that'd do it.

Just make sure you're not wearing them at the time. o_O

As for the posture thing, the old girl next door reckons her posture is better if she throws her boobs over her shoulders.  She says that it relieves her chronic backache... but I dunno that I'd want to run into her in the street looking like that.

:-" ;) ;P

2 reasons clothes would hurt your posture - one of which is lack of viable anatomical strength

building self-trust while ignoring society is delusional isolation

'straight up can't live in non boxer shorts' is not healthy

'it takes something to willingly make yourself the object of children's(highly linear) laughter, and women's(also highly linear) superficial embarrassment.'  with 'mad respect' thereof - not only does that show lack of respect for others in society, you're looking at it from the wrong perspective

being healthy ain't just physical

Well I'm torn between the two. There's a part of me that would find that hilarious. Then there's children.......

Would Not want mine to be educated in such a manner. #:(

Sorry bud. You lose. Pack it up...

Man wearing underwear on head first arrested under Boulder's Nudity Law
BOULDER, COLO. (AP) _ Boulder Police say a man who was panhandling on a highway off-ramp wearing only a pair of panties on his head is the first person to be arrested under the City's new Public Nudity Law.

Of course how you wear your underwear may be just as important as what you wear.:O

AND?????

Just hilarious???

maybe a little disturbing as well????

or slightly arousing???

What if his junk fell out of the trunk????

Would you scream or just laugh?

Um, was that a camera flash I just saw go off there??? :-" ;P

Me either... not that she wears them often enough to matter. :X

Probably not!!!   It seems he is mentally challenged already. :-"

I did bit of follow up research on this " bucket head". He was protesting illegal use of flashing blue lights to skip through traffic. Cool move imo.

But he is not the real "Buckethead"........ imo the worlds greatest guitar virtuoso/composer
