I've owned this game for a total of 1 day and was looking for some people to play with/against.

You'll probably have luck finding newer players on standard vanilla Sins (but not the expansions Entrenchment and Diplomacy).  Welcome to our community!

Not sure about this.  I would argue that most new players would be getting compilations at this point in the game's cycle, which would more likely include Entrenchment/Diplomacy than just vanilla.

 

I'm a new player, and I'm terrible.  Send me a PM, stubbz and we'll get together and you can annihilate me.  And by bad, I mean, bad.  I need to do the tutorial again, haven't played in a while. :D

I wanna try multiplayer too, but seeing that I've had the game for about 20 hours now I'll probably be on single player for a while before I pluck up the courage to go online lol

It might be best to give it a good 4 weeks before venturing online.  That way you should be familiar with all of the game mechanics and have some knowledge of each race and their capabilities, strengths, and weaknesses.

I am also new to the online for this game and was wondering what would be the best way to get in on a game, everytime i try to play online everyone is either waiting on someone, ignores you or speaks some other language. Ive never played online before but ive had the game for about a month and a half so im pretty familiar with it.

I will play with people on vanilla even though I am not exactly new, I will either go by Zeta1127 or Dragoenix Order.
