And the bird pets have returned home

I picked up the bird pets from my co-worker's house where they had been living for the last few weeks... At least one of them seemed rather excited to see me and my daughter there to pick them up.  I'm still in debt to my co-worker for being so kind in taking in the birds while I was going to be away from home.  I think she enjoyed having them in her home, but it was still work and still a big favor for me.

It had been so quiet in the house over the last few weeks.  That will of course be gone in the a.m. when the tweeting will start up as the pets all demand their breakfast feedings.

The next few weeks will probably find me busy with a variety of tasks.  I'll be car shopping with my daughter and hopefully going to visit my grandmother.  And there are more concerts to go to, and perhaps a baseball game along the way.

Dogs are very needy, but then very loving too.  Cats are loving, but not needy - until you leave them for a week (under a neighbor's care).  Then they first treat you like you did them wrong, before trying to make sure you never leave them again!

Never had birds to deal with, but our friends do.  So far, they have not had to find a care taker as they have not been gone for an extended trip.
