Issues with cintimatic mode

I recently got Diplomacy with version 1.011 but recently  every time that I start a game the cinematic mode is turned on while the button shows the mode being off, clicking the mode to on does not turn it off. I have uninstalled it and reinstalled but the problem has not changed. any suggestions on how to fix this

Once in game, goto menu -> user interface. You may have the options switch off for the items in the left column. Turn cin mod off and enable the options then turn cin mod on and watch the toggle.
