Windowblinds are not showing as in photo under windowblids tab

What could be the problem, and/or how can I start uninstalling and reinstalling with a fresh setup, any help would be greatly appreciated, is there any temp files I should be cleaning up?

Not everyone one but quite a few, for example if you look up Acryllic 7 under the windowblinds tab you see that the theme is opague when I download it it is solid

go to the WB  enter face under Transparency at bottom and make sure you don't have  any of them turned on hit the reset all words

hope this helps

No that didn't help either, it seems it only effects WB with transparency in them, it does't show as transparent, it shows as solid

Try to lower the "filter by" (at the left just under the pics of the skins)  to 1 star and see if they appear.

What is your Windows Experience score? You may not get any transparency if that is not refreshed/redone.

(I'm assuming that the wndowblind itself applies solid, and it's not just the preview that's solid)

click on "about windowblinds" and from the screen that comes up click on "copy to clipboard" and then paste (cntr-v) that into your post. it may help people attempting to help you.

drjbhl changing the WB's to 1 star seems to be helping, is there a way to make this apply to all my WB's at once or do I have to do them 1 at a time

where do I go to find my Windows experience score
Open the start menu,right-click on Computer, select Properties. You will see your Index number there. If it is unrated, or less than 2 WB will not apply correctly. To rate it just click on the link next to the rating number and follow the instructions.

1 star seems to be helping, is there a way to make this apply to all my WB's at once
It's easier to rate all the blinds at 3 stars or better, which I believe is the default rating, then set the ratings filter for WB config  to 1 or 0 (I prefer 0 myself.)

Wizard I did change the stars ratings to 1 but I can change them back.  then how do I go about changing the ratings filter for WB config to 1 or 0

If you load Windows Aero By Microsoft  the 2nd skin

does it make you window borders Transparent?

if not try this:

click on the Start menu type AERO click on > Enable or disable transparent glass on windows <

a new window will open right under the pink glass is a check box make sure it is check.

if that was or did not help try this

click on the Start menu type AERO click on > Find and fix problems with transparency and other visual effects <

Hope this helps... good luck !

Does taskmanager show that dwm.exe is running?

To manually start the desktop windows manager, click on the CMD shortcut from Start/Programs/Accessories/Command Prompt and type net start uxsms

To change the star rating just click on the first star in Filter by for a 1 and  on the area between "Filter by" and the first star for none.

You should see "Filter by ***** and higher" when you open WindowBlind Configuration in the middle left of that screen. Just click the first star.
