Civilians of Elemental

Paul and I decided that we really wanted players to be able to get a dog somehow during the course of the game.

Which reminds me, we need a way to name units.

Is that a dragon riding beast in the right corner!? Sounds awesome...

Random name generation/creation of NPC's would be nice, getting tired of seeing Lewooz running a round my kingdom haha.

Any news on a build that would fix your 3 major crashes? :)

You could have familiar spells to get a dog, squirrel, other cute mascots.

Yeah, the naming of units would be nice.  I had fun with that in Civ4.
The naming of locations (displayed on the cloth map) would be nice as well.

Looks more like some kind of Bear.

See that, Lucky? You can make that "Bear Cavalry" now ;)

John_Hughes retracts -3 Essences from Raven X for such a blatantly obtuse statement.

I wonder if it would be possible to have a Name Theme when creating your faction.

You pick one of two possiblities All names end/start with " XXXX "

Ex you want your faction to honour your Sovereign thus all names end with a variation of "san" after the Mighty Sovereign Thynlisan

Variatons might include about anything though san, sain, sana, siana, sano, sanio, sani etc etc or what about having a list you add to the game of names first or last you want used in a random fashion possible with a variation format as well?

I think my hopes fora totally mobile mounted army are finally getting playable with the latest version. I haven't however thought about my huns riding anything but horses. Maybe there is a future in this whole unique mounting system.

I have always said that we should have domesticated and ridden bears into battle against the huns. \o/

There's a user here on the forums named "lucky" who's always going on about his "Bear Cavalry". Go take essence from him. I need all mine to....you know....live. :P

Dogs? nah. Cats. Big cats. Really big cats. Orange with black stripes. Or white with black stripes. Tigers if possible. My druids would love to have some wolf companions too. Good thing that we have modding.

Did someone say bear cavalry? :w00t:

Awww, man, noo. That looks like some kind of wyrm. *hm-rmph* :annoyed:

A dog, cat or a mice, Make it a littel mini game with raising your pet, so it can be a fun too, Totaly automatic and non affecting game system. Like, Feed, stroke, pat, train mice, so it can do some tricks, so we can show them to other kings or players. It can be a mesennger, or a very IMPORTANT QUEST PART :) Also it can give you small bonuses, like charisma for a pretty cat, and morale for a big dog ;) Posibilites are limitless

I will just add that one of my games on this build i got a nice shock. (No Idea what tech or ability choice caused them to show up)

I was out for a long time looking around the map and then ported back to my town and Then i checked out the store it had a brown or black Horse and a white/silver or black Warg (think it was a Warg) It looked like a big wolf I bought one and rode around the map for some time on it before i got myself killed. When i appeared at town the warg was still with me.
