I was watching a show on TV and an old song I remember from my youth was playing. It was "Somebody to Love" by Jefferson Airplane. Of course my curiosity got the best of me, and after doing a wiki search it turns out Grace Slick is 70 years old!
WOW....ok, back to your regular gaming discussion...

Same "Somebody to Love" as Queen? Or is it a totally different song?
I still have this on vinyl! And about 400 others! 
You're my hero! I lost my vinyl through a stupid accident while storing my records in a room that got a bit too warm.
Those were the days. God what music. I think the Moody Blues were my favorite group but there were many.
I think that the amazing thing is that Grace is even alive at this point. She lived hard but well in those days.
Oh yeah, that was Surrealistic Pillow and showing my age i bought the vinyl ugh, still have it and still love the music, and speaking of music, i spent the better part of the the last couple of months ripping all my cds, lps etc tapes, and put them on my server, an incredible feat i must say with a total of a little of 1000 albums, cds,lp whatever they are called today, and i dont think i have enough time left on this planet to listen to each and every song LOL
Vinyl records... pfffft! Everyone knows that 8-tracks are the new medium of choice!!!!

This has me all thinking about rocking out to Styx and Def Leppard while gaming all hours of the night (early Bard's Tale, SSI RPGs) on my Commodore... and I remember the giddy feeling of upgrading to a C128D... ugh! =(

My daughter and I used to sing "Lather"(from Crown of Creation) in the car when she was little.
And it does happen to be in my collection, i dont know how i forgot the 8 tracks, i got em somewhere, i actually was very good at repairing 8 tracks, what i think i miss the most is the quality and quantity of good music,
8 tracks? All we had 45 and 33 rpm vinyl back in the day heh heh
You know, one day it will be 'old' for me to say I remember cassette tapes. Luckily for me, that won't be for a long time. 
WHAT is a cassette tape? j/k
and I used to SELL blank 8 track cartridges in my first job

You're old when you can remember playing "She Loves You" by the Beatles on an old 78rpm wind-up gramaphone (and slowing it down with your finger) because electric 45rpm record players were still new and way too expensive for the working class masses.
Shoot, I remember going to church on sunday mornings cos it was the only place we could hear live music... and if you went down to the mosh pit you could get a glass of wine and a slice of bread
