MyColors Won't Even Load, Gives Error About Not Having Admin Rights

Win 7 x64

I just installed the Alienware theme for my M11x that uses MyColors. The first two times I ran the My Colors theme manager, it opened, however, it first displayed an error saying that it needed admin rights to run. After clicking okay it actually opened though. This only happened twice, now it doesn't even launch.

My account is already an admin account, and after telling the loader.exe file as well as the shortcut pointing to it to run as administrator and having no effect on the error, I actually logged into the built-in admin account in Windows 7 and tried again, with the same results. As you can in the picture below, I'm giving this program every admin right it could ever possibly want yet it still refuses to load. Running it in either XP SP3 or Vista SP2 compatibility mode also has zero effect. What gives?

You got me just a little confused when you talked about the compatibility mode, then I got what you were saying.

Turn off UAC, if you haven't and see if that lets it run.  If you have done that, the only other suggestion I can make is use Impulse to uninstall MyColors, run a clean up program like CCleaner and reboot.  Open Impulse and reinstall if that doesn't work then you probably should email [email protected]

Hope you get it running.  :sun:

Thanks for the reply. Yeah UAC is off.

What is Impulse? It apparently wasn't installed with the theme, apparently just MyColors.
