Is this enough to convince you this Administration does not really care about Immigration Laws?

“The Obama administration has tapped an outspoken critic of immigration enforcement on the local level to oversee and promote partnerships between federal and local officials.

Harold Hurtt, a former police chief in Houston and Phoenix, has been hired as the director for the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's Office of State and Local Coordination. Starting July 6, Hurtt will supervise outreach and communication between ICE, local law enforcement agencies, tribal leaders and representatives from non-governmental organizations.” Link

So this Administrations idea of a qualified Director for ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement's with emphasis on the word Enforcement) is a guy who is against enforcement of Immigration Laws and is a supporter of "sanctuary city" policies? Did I miss something here? Do you hire a football star for a baseball team? Do you hire a guy without a license to drive company vehicles? Do you hire a person with a criminal record for animal abuse to take care of your pets?

I just don’t understand how the recent poll from NBC/Wall Street Journal on Obama’s approval ratings does not have Obama at even lower points. I don’t understand how people still believe in him.

Obama will not go lower in the polls, because the media is propping him up.  But much of his "approval" will not translate into votes.  Many are afraid of being labeled racist for saying they disapprove of him (not realizing they are being racist with that view).

He might as well just issue an amnesty since he sure has no policy or any hope of getting one implemented.  His administration is indeed a keystone kop movie.

What bugs me the most is that not only are they stating they will do one then and the do the opposite (like in this case) but that they are doing so openly in the publics eyes and it's as if they are not doing anything wrong to them. Hire a guy who's against illegal immigration enforcement to head ICE, promote fair wages assistance for illegals while stating that employers are not to hire illegals on their own site, hire a guy who doesn't pay his own taxes to head the IRS? What else can this administration be stupid about so openly to the public while the public continues to be proud of their Master and Commander?

Dear leader's approval numbers can't go much lower. His current approval percentage rating is about the same as the percent of voters that don't pay taxes. As long as there is hope getting free stuff they will approve.

I believe the commenter is referring to their post Chuck. He/she must be unaware of the edit feature (unless they came in through a portal where that feature is broken).
