It is like the buzzing of a bee.  You tune it out.  But then I am not sitting in the stands, nor do I think the devuvuzelator would help there. ;)

If you like the Vuvuzela and hate football, you can also surf the web while listening to a Vuvuzela concert

Any support or troubleshooting for this?

I put the file on my desktop, click and get this popup box:

Error: Unable to start audio hook

Unable to load DLL "Devuvuzelator.dll': The application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x800736B1)

So that sucks.  The dll file pops up right there on the desktop beside the .exe, but for whatever reason it doesn't work.  Restarted the PC a few times but no dice.  Redownloaded the file to make sure it wasn't corrupted or something.

Running Windows XP on my laptop, service pack 3 and stuff.  Shouldn't be any problems.  Really wanted to use this to watch some games this week.

It must be frustrating being an Australian and being unable to steal the credit from New Zealand for once...

But you still can't help but try...

Thank you, Stardock, thank you so much!

Poor Aussies: beaten in rugby, yet another thrashing in cricket, and the final indignity, falling behind the Kiwis.

Sad, very sad...

I hope FIFA bans the Vuvuzela. I don't mind the buzzing sound as much, but there are reports that it can cause hearing damage, as well as the fact that the players complain that they can't concentrate because of the buzzing.

People say that we need to "respect" other cultures (typical politcal correctness BS), but this is the WORLD Cup, not the South Africa cup. The rest of the world doesn't have a tradition of tens of thousands of horns being blown at the top of the users lungs for 90 minutes straight.

Just ban the Vuvuzela so the players can play better and more of the world will want to watch this event, which only happens every 4 years.

Or...simply never hold the World Cup in South Africa again. Hit them where it hurts...their empty wallet and deserted tourism.
