Fences wont start

I read about Fences in a newsletter and it sounded impressive.  When I downloaded it it stopped during installation with a message that it had encountered a problem and needed to close.  When I clicked on the message the next screen said installation had been completed.  When I attempt to start the program from ALL PROGRAMS it returns the same message that it has encountered problems and needs to close.  I tried uninstalling and re-downloading. Same result.  Can you tell me what I am doing wrong please as the application sounds very useful.  Cheers and thank you.

PS I am using Win XP Home SP3 on a P4 4 gb ram.

Fences requires .NET Framework 2.0 to be installed, so please ensure you have that. Note that while newer Windows versions come with .NET, XP does not. Try uninstalling Fences completely and then run the file below:

Once you do this, reboot and reinstall the latest version through Impulse.
