Zelda Medley String Quartet....Awesome!!!

The best six minutes of my day.

If you don't like this, there's just something wrong with you...

They hit a couple rough spots. It's not perfect, but they do one hell of a job. They run the range from old school game to a few songs that aren't as well known. Watching this was probably the best 6 minutes of my day (night actually).

gotta love how the type of instrument being used makes a subtle but amazing difference to the original song.  Heard plenty of orchestrated version of zelda songs before, but never string instruments only.  Thanks for this:)

Update your drivers, my friend. Have you updated your DivX Web Player? Might be the issue.

I don't think you embedded it quite right. I see a box with "x" in the corner. Went to the link and watched it though, very cool. :)

It's watching videos like this that really, really make me wish Nintedo would release the full soundtracks of their games. I mean seriously, there are tons of people who would buy the official  Legend of Zelda or Super Mario theme songs. At least they released the Super Mario Galaxy music and Japan, but it's too bad we can't get it on this side of the Pacific:'(

Ya, I gave that link for a reason... For me, it shows up in Chrome just fine, but not in IE.

Yay the last piece they play is the best. Dunno why Link's Awakening is such a favorite for me. :)

That brings back my childhood! That is cool, I don't remember the songs so much other than I just subconsciously absorbed it after 5 times through the game! Do they say where it was recorded?

It was a music show at a college some-where. Not sure which one honestly. I'm not registered on the site so I don't see the 94 comments the video has. They might say.

If I just kick back and close my eyes and listen to this...I get flashbacks of where I was in the game when that music is playing. I see myself playing the game, holding the controller. I remember the first time I beat Gannon in the original game. I think I was 10 or 11.

Music is a powerful summoner of our memories. Certain smells can trigger memories as well. I must have listened to this thing 10 times since I've found it. Being a life-time member to Nintendo Power I actually have some game music CD's they sent me somewhere around here. I know it's got some Zelda tunes on it. I need to find it...

Yeah, this things just Awesome. If I could give my-self karma for finding it I probably would ..LoL.
