Win7 Ultimate x64 - No option to exclude shortcuts/folders/fences

Hi all.

I have used Fences on WinXP x86 without any issues. However, I recently installed Win7 x64 and now I don't have the option to exclude shortcuts, folders or fences from disappearing when I double click my desktop. Single files show this option but nothing else. So if I have a single photo stuck on my desktop I can keep it from disappearing.

Any ideas what might be causing this? I've been through the configuration thing a couple times to make sure I did not miss anything but it looks like all I should have to do is right click the icons and select "Exclude this icon from Fences quick hide." That option does not exist.....

I also browsed the forums here but did not see anything related. Not to say I didn't overlook it. Can anybody help?

So, on right-click you don't have View -> Exclude this fence from quick-hide? Try uninstalling Fences completely and then run the file below:

Once you do this, reboot and reinstall the latest version through Impulse.

Well, I had a bit of a hiccup with my dvi signal after uninstalling fences but got that straightened out. Here's what's up.

Before uninstalling I checked for the View -> Exclude this fence from auto hide and that option was there. Guess I overlooked that earlier. However the option to exclude shortcuts and folders still was not present. So I uninstalled fences, rebooted, reinstalled fences, rebooted and now it looks like everything is as it should be. Thanks for the help!

The problem is back....don't know what happened but at some point the option to hide folders and shortcuts went away again. I just don't understand it....

Guess I will just remove fences and move on...

At this point I would recommend sending an email to [email protected].
