my suggestions

I loved the tactica lcombat from Master of Orion - every aspect of it. So that would be a suggestion from me :-)

Some aspects to pick up that I liked most

  • different wapons type (eg mass drivers don't have effect when shields are on)
  • self destruct of ships
  • manual control of some ships components
  • carriers / fighters
  • ships utility (e.g. long range fast ships could flank enemies to avoid damage)
  • automatic battle option (I don't remember if that was there, but it definitely should be there:-)

don't like ship control unless i have an auto option instead manual ship control doesn't really work in rts if i wanted manual ship control i would play rpg or a shooter game not an rts gets your games right again only three good races they all should be good races at least the drengin korath arceons terrans altarians yor according to gameline should know how to fight quit lowering one ai to raise another example you lowered the torians terrans arceans iconians for dark avatar to raise the krynn and korath for dark avatar you lowered the krynn korath terrans altarians drengin to raise the thalans torians and iconians for twilight you could transfer not just one but all your good mod stuff into the next game when you make a game picking sins of a solar emoire transfer the good stuff like better pirates resources for tech research anti matter abilities graphichs including vesari different kind of planets that are not really planets limited populations depending on the planets colonizing astroids research astroids limiting planet exploration orbital defence orbital structures bring back the example mod upgraded for twilight make it easier to download mods multiplayer game sounds good citizens and great people sounds good leader and civilization abilities multiple leaders for multiple civilizations sounds good 30 instead of 10 major races sounds good more races to choose from you need position the races evenually apart you need better starbases make the arceans drengin and korx more formidable i don't like seeing podunck races and races that will trasde anything like flagship and planets stop that thats dumb also i like medieval total war setup as far as leader interaction nake a rts version of spore great untill you get to the tribal stage except the creator creator needs to be more flexible in making alien and human races cheesy stragy in the tribal and civilization stage in the space stage i didn't like how you took away my planet and turned into an rpg not an rts remember were in 2010 not in the 19th century they didn't compete with you civilization sins of a solar empire shattered suns empire earth call to power or even free civ rise of nations or virtual village make an rts version of spore how can you have an rts without techs

also as far as customization why didn't you use races from all your games not just galactic civilization allow also uploaded from cam's scanners and also let you use paint and maybe other drawing programs to make your races lets not forget all that free games the problem is not it's too hard the other races need to be formidable to the computer needs to be able to make better ships instead of cheating at more difficult levels set higher ai goals also you don't just need to be competive research military and economy every ai should be also and know how to build ships have them watch me and build ships to counter me if im building dinky ships u dont need to worry about that if i'm attacking and defending at 109 u need to be better manuvering jets sound nice
