Planets and Units are only icons

Hi,

yesterday i bought me GalCiv II Ultimate Edition. All good, all fine.

 

Some hours ago the game crashed to desktop and now, when i start it again, all planets and units and anomalies are only small icons...no 3D and not animated of cuz.

 

I started a new game and i also reinstalled the game. I didn't find an option to switch to the 3D-models. Can i get somehow back the 3D-models?

Do they remain as icons even when you zoom in? The icons should appear when you zoom out beyond a certain point but when you zoom back in the 3D models should come back.

Go to Options - Interface.

In the Display Options section check your Tactical-View Zoom Level. Mine is set to 25.

Hi,

Thanks for help. Found it.

It is on 100, so the 3D models should apear in every Zoom Level. But i found out, everytime, i load a game, i have to change the Tactical-View Zoom Level. Then it works.

 

But Impulse doesn't start now anymore...so i can't get Version 2.3, cuz after reinstallation it got back to 2.2.

 

Anyway, important i have the lovely 3D-Models again :D

 

No I only have to win a game and don't get slaughtered, but that's an other part of the cake xD
