In-game private message tabs

I've been goofing around and changing my nick a few times and for some reason now on the right side of my screen in game there are chat tabs that will not dissappear from my previous nick names.  When I open these tabs on the right side there is no conversation inside these little boxes.  I then close these boxes and they magically re-appear a few moments later.  I have no idea how to remove these annoying chat tabs on the right side of my screen in-game.

you deal with it. It goes away after a few days.

tough luck? I've changed my name multiple times but it always goes away eventually.

It's a known issue.  I figured it out once but I don't want to bother to figure out how I did it... I sent in a ticket, and it's been about a week with the only response telling me that they have my ticket but are still working on the issue lol.
