Well, that's basically what this is.  Also, if you haven't already, be sure to give the manual a quick look! (it's in the game directory) It's rather nicely written.

 

I'm personally fond of these sorts of walkthroughs, as well. Just playing through a single game according to it's direction helped me get a feel for how the game played.
