An Awesome Group Bridal Shower

I don't know if you have been to a lot of bridal showers or not, but most of them are exactly alike.  Aside from the fact that they are thrown for different people, you typically end up playing the same games, eating the same food, and seeing all the same types of gifts.  Usually only women are invited too.  It's hard to make a bridal shower unique.

However, I believe that my friends Ryan and Becky found a way to make a bridal shower unique this past weekend.  They threw a group bridal shower.  This is not to be confused with a couples bridal shower, where only couples are invited.  At a group bridal shower, everyone is invited.  The only that our friends threw was a grill out style party, with subtle touches of a bridal shower.

The subtle touches were some of the decorations, the games we played, and the gifts.  The games were fun because one of them we just had to watch the bride and groom play The Newly Wed Game and the other one was a celebrity couple matching game.  So everyone was able have fun and just hang out.  Also, at the end of the party we got to surprise them with the television they registered for that we all pitched in to get them.  It was awesome! I can't wait to throw one just like it for one of my friends!
