Karma - what is it good for?

Are there any advantages of having a high karma? If not, what's the point of the whole karma system of this forum?

(I'm just curious, I don't think I'll ever have much of it :) )

If it's high enough, HG_Eliminator lets you buy him Pizza.

He who controls the karma, can control the World

When your bored you'll find a use for it. But it really serves no purpose.

Karma, is like chocolate. If you have never had any thats all you will want.  Once you have had some however you realise it not all that.

Karma is a way to keep Doc from "shopping" you.

(till he finds out you'll pay, then it really costs you)

Not a darn thing, but then I don't ever remember asking for karma to be part of the forums.

It must of meant something to someone or it wouldn't be here. :S

Karma! Huh? What is it good for? Absolutely nothin! (sorry, it had to be done)

We eat Steak or veggies and Doc eats Karma. Without it he has trouble getting through the day.

Its just an indicator of who is helpful on the forum of your choice. The people who have been around longer and more active tend to have more karma, so it can help somewhat when deciding who to believe.

As you have zero karma, we should not believe this... ;p

Of course, we should believe everything the Doc says... *_*

Which is not visibly from all SD sites.

Another reason why I say its pointless, if some people cant even see it

well, you can click on the "0" then and be able to view it. Sometimes takes you to a funny post, such as SplitShadows SerialKey-Rhyme, which is funny as hell

Karma karma karma karma, karma chameleon
You come and go, you come and go
Loving would be easy if your colors were like my dream
Red gold and green, red gold and green

Karma here is worth about as much as that song, which I wish I'd never heard.  The "you come and go" part is accurate, though, since the karma system is buggy.

Dawww, you guys are awesome. It totally doesn't rhyme though and like many of my posts, I didn't write it, I just modified what others have made. I just changed the word 'fish' to serial code from a Monty Python sketch.
