And suddenly .... nothing on the screen

Hi,

 

I am using Fences Pro since the beginning, and had no big problems, but since 1 hour I have got THE big one.

Suddenly, after using the "show desktop" button, I wanted to go back and have the icons back, and .... nothing

When I turn Fences off, all my icons are showing back, in full disorder but here they are, when I turn it back on, everything has disappeared again. If I shut down Fences, nothing on screen.

Do you know this problem and is there a quick fix, because without shortcuts, i'm LOST :(

Try a doubleclick on the desktop. Just guessing........

Try windows button + d? It toggles show desktop on/off.

Thanks but I tried both and still the same. I restarted, and still the same. Really seems to be a bug in there

I have tried to submit a support mail with the two files generated by Fences and thta hes been to sent as an attachment (fences_debug_info.txt an fences_debug_snapshot.dat).

I tried two time and here the answer I got both times

Just curious........do you have show desktop icons on? (right click desktop - view - show desktop icons) That's happened to me before...

Yes, I have show desktop icons on.

But now, after restarting the computer another time, it took longer to load, and eureka, everything is back as it was before, strange stuff, but it's back

 

Just a question, is there a way to backup the fences created to restore them manually if one day a big problem happens.
