How to use HIDDEN ObjectDock on DESKTOP ONLY?

Here is what I want to do:

- have items on my ObjectDock that launch Applications - WORKS!

- auto-hide my ObjectDock - WORKS!

- show my hidden ObjectDock, when I move my mouse cursor to the right side of the screen, with the pixel underneath my mouse cursor being part of my desktop - WORKS!

- NOT show my hidden ObjectDock, when I move my mouse cursor to the right side of the screen, with the pixel underneath my mouse cursor NOT being part of my desktop (i.e. maximized window of the currently running application) - DOES NOT WORK!

Can anybody tell me how to setup ObjectDock in a way that this is possible?

For those of you, who do not know what I am talking about, take a look at "RK Launcher". This feature works like a charm there.

Thanks in advance

Set it to "always on top". That should work for ya!

From what I can tell, that's exactly the opposite of what the user wants. I believe I am experiencing the same difficulty.

PROBLEM: When I am in a maximized program, I do not want the Dock to come over top of it. It should only appear when I am on my desktop and should not go over top of other programs. I also want it to be hidden when not in use. There seems to be no setting for this, though.

NEEDS: An auto-hide setting that also allows for the dock to ALWAYS remain on bottom (including when active).

On 2.0 beta: Open Config, and go to Accessibility.

Select Keep on bottom.

Uncheck box Show dock when mouse touches edge.

*Poof*  The dock is now pinned to the desktop

Edit. It Shows Pinned to desktop but the setting doesn't seem to hold. After a try or two it reverts back to Always on top.

Can anyone  else get this function to work?  It did work for me when initially set but as stated, it doesn't hold the setting.

Hopefully support will note the bug and put it on the "to-do" list.
