Patching & the New Hero

I feel like I'm missing something.

Just installed the game, and Impulse, and I don't see anything in Impulse that would suggest I can update the game, and in game the Impulse update function is greyed out, but I definitely don't have the most recent patch (because I can't use the new assassin.)  I'm using Windows 7, tried disabling firewalls, running as an administrator, etc.  Can anyone lend me some insight into my problem?  I'm pretty stumped :/

I tried playing a quick game against the AI while logged into multiplay - the computers in the game could be the new characters (I randomed until they were selected, for some reason I couldn't select them manually) and in game, but I still can't pick the new characters, unfortunately.

I too have tried EVERYTHING suggested in these forums to play as the 2 additional chars.

I have just brought the game this week and there is no way for me to play as the new chars.

Please tell me why a brand new game with all updates can't work like advertised.

Ill give it a week and if they cant fix it will ask for money back :(

please send an email to [email protected] and explain what you've tried.  I'm very confident that they will have a way to get the characters added to your account.  They typically respond and resolve issues very quickly.
