Well.. I downloaded this Logon Studio Editor that looks like this

 

and then I tried to make one... like the one you see in the preview..

but..the problem is... the image looks distorted.. if I applied it and try to use it..

it will appear like this :

 

and the only option for the image is BITMAP ... the original image of this is a JPEG file.. i just converted it to BITMAP using my photoshop..

anyone I need help on this..

im running on windows XP..

You have a widescreen monitor, so your image needs to be in the same format (taking into account the top and bottom pink fields). You could crop the image to compensate. And/or choose to hide the top section making the image higher. (hiding the bottom doesn't work.....it leaves a white field there and you'll have to do another trick to fix that)

I just occurred to me that you were talking about the fact that all the black is replaced with pink. Cavan1 is the guy to tell you about that since I don't use xp anymore and haven't done a logon in ages.....He should be along shortly.

Thanks guys it helped me... I changed the first and last color setting to back 0,0,0 but a few more questions..what about the USERICON?

how am I gonna change it to what style I want? coz this looks awkward ...and no matter what I do, I tried editing it and saving it as BITMAP image..it wont change..it says it cannot read it.. and ...the divider at the middle..is it possible to remove it?
