Beginning of Summer Skin Contest

Summer is rapidly approaching, and I wanted to get ready for it by having a Summer skin contest where just about everybody can participate.  Usually, we focus on one item, such as just wallpapers, but that limits too many people.  This time it is open to all skins!  Whether it is a CursorFX theme, a wallpaper, .Dream, or anything else available on WinCustomize, it will be accepted.  All that is required is that it is inspired by the Summer season.

This is just a fun contest where we want to see the creativity of the WinCustomize community!

Prizes: 

  • 1st place gets a $50 gift certificate to the Impulse store, and second gets a $25 gift certificate.
  • Winners will also have their skins and gallery featured on WinCustomize news.

Rules: 

  • Contest runs from May 5th to June 21st at 12pm EST.
  • Skins must have a Summer inspired theme. 
  • Uploads must be tagged with #summer10 (example: Summer wallpaper #summer10)
  • No upload limits, submit as many as you want, but remember – quality over quantity.
  • Submissions in all categories will be accepted, with the exception of screenshots.

Great idea having the contest open to all the galleries. This deserves a huge response. By the way, can a skin be entered as a wallpaper, a logon and a bootskin, or is a particular skin limited to one gallery only?

You can enter all three, but in the case with wallpapers, logons, and bootskins, the wallpaper would be the one actually judged as that is what the other skins are based off of.
