I wanted to make a red and black theme that took advantage of the dramatic contrasts that this color combo can achieve.

It's been described many ways by folks as I have been building it... devilish, menacing, provocative, wikked, luminescent, masterpiece, fierce, ''pushing the envelopes''  However you may feel about it after loading it up I truly hope that enjoy the experience. It has been a challenging and time consuming theme to construct.

All matching skins will be loaded soon on Wincustomize.com, and there are a bunch, and lastly as I have mentioned before all truly dark skins will have a couple of areas here and there that can cause problems, mostly in MS Office, I have included a light version for each OS. There is also a winflag Start button alternative included in the zip that can be dropped in the WB folder.

Ok.  XPHomeSP3, DTX beta, English here.  Brought the Weather widget down, seems to work fine, no script errors.  Probably the language(?).  Just thought one "working for me on XP" might be useful before you take the conversation elsewhere.

Nice looking widget.  Nice looking WB. Nice looking everything else too, I'll get all this shortly.  Thanks everybody.  B) (Really looking forward to that WinStep theme, WG |-) )

the Venom tray dock is not working well if positioned on top...how can i make it working well? and i want built-in icon reflection...help would be 200% appreciate :grin:

Which one are you talking about?  By vStyler or natas2?  Mine should work just fine at the top, however, I don't have OD2.0 so I can't help with icon reflection because I can't test it out.  Someone that can is welcome to post the modified ini in the release thread so people can modify theirs if they want.

hmm it is not like that here with OD2...the tray gone inverted...EDIT only tried with the icon-reflection code..didn't try the original

deleted the code and putting it back seems fixed but now the icons are not "sitting" on the tray dock like some of the defaults (some happens the same but some are not)

edit again lol...submit bug report or it can be fixed with some edits on the code?

perhaps, u could read back, check the code posted for OD2 and if it doesnt work, then go to OD thread and post a bug report, this is the Venom WB release thread.

well like i said it does work but the icon position is not right (should move up a bit) that makes it looks like it is a ghost...or it is in out of space lol...so i'm not sure if that's the problem with the code or OD2 i think it is my last off-topic post....since it is Venom WB Release thread so... :|

That seems like your system screwing it up.  Or a bug in OD2.  I'd put a note on the OD2 bug thread about it.  I've never, ever, seen OD invert an image all by itself.  Never.  Ever. (except for running indicators, which sucks big time.  did they fix that?)

not upside-down anymore but the icons are not sitting on the tray with the icon reflection code

@ Pas - Dani and I have tried everything w\ regards to ur issue re: Office 2010, nothing seems to work, we did find that u can also click on left , right edges as well, to minimize.

 

I have sent the issue to Neil, hopefully he will come thru with something.
