Special Prom Time
So it's prom time again, and it's limo city around our community. Every weekend for the past few weeks has been filled with seeing high school kids pack out all the restaurants, riding aroun in limos, and dressed up as much as they can possibly be. It always makes me wonder about the drama that's probably going on in their friend group.
Prom always brings with it an immense amount of expectations that are impossible to meet. Everyone wants the perfect date, the perfect outfit, and the perfect prom night. Of course, that hardly ever happens and students are crushed when it doesn't.
What I think is that high school students should make prom what they want it to be, instead of just wishing hopefully that everything will work out perfectly. If there is a guy/girl that you want to go with, ask them! If not, get some guts and self-confidence and go without a date. Wear whatever you want to wear, even if it's one of these! Spend some of your money on tools that will help you look your best that night, like michal negrin accessories and a hot tools flat iron. You won't regret it. Just focus on having a great time, and I promise you will.
