[Mod Utility] Sins Model Tool - UPDATE moving to new language and tool - Entity forge

Hi, its me again :)

I present to you the Sins Model Tool... erh... v 0.8

Currently it can show a 3d model (no textures, maybe yet and maybe never),

resize in any direction and rotate in any direction. The tool shows how the changes affect the mesh without saving the changes untill you tell it to, it can however only rezise or rotate (and then you will have to save the changes) and rotate once for each axis in the order x z y, so if you want to rotate z and then x you will have to rotate z then save it and then rotate x. Decimals are seperated by "." so a half is 0.5. For some reason notepad don't recoignise the new lines in the exported mesh, though neither the game or notepad++ have problems showing or reading the file.

The tool is currently on hold, it will get added to my current tool at some point, see reply 17.

This shows a small adjustment I did:

Awesome, glad you are still working on this. I still fire up your original to make mesh changes occasionally.

Oh, glad to hear that ^^. I can imagine it is more fun to use then xsi or the 3ds max plugin xD

As do I. When I didn't scale something properly, it is way easier to use your tool than change it in XSI then export and convert it all over again.

Not meant as a necro but this is something indispensable and I now have enough savvy to use it.  Is this bundled with youtr model tool?  Is there a standalone version?  Are you still here?

sinperium, I have found in my personal sins archive a file called "Sins_Model_Tool v 0.93.zip", I am uploading it to my dropbox.

hope it is the correct file AND you can get it to work.

Thanks very much Harpo--you da man--again.

Hey!  You have an avatar now! (finally)

It can't be any buggier, broken or more confused than any other of the Sins things I have to work with ;)

It shows this DLL as missing:  mclmcrrt711.dll

sinperium, I googled the mclmcrrt711.dll  missing error and get the idea that there needs to be a matlab runtime 2009 installed in the computer, so it looks like this program was created with matlab v2009 and found this link, but do not yet know if it is the correct version (180mb download).

as usual, hope this helps

Can't hurt.  Zombie posted he uses this--maybe he can cough up the dll.  I'll try the link--thanks for the help.

Now where is that dead guy?
