In regards to the first one with SC2 Beta.
That chick is crazy and he was right to dumb her. There is another clip on youtube where she is outside his house smashes a window with a brick then turns the garden hose on and puts it into the window and leaves it running. It's a good thing she left video evidence of her crime as were it me I would promptly have her arrested and a restraining order placed on her crazy ass.
Second I find it amusing how people think "deleted" it permenant. Most emails have a trash bin which acts just like your recycle bin on your computer and unless you delete it from their it's not gone and can easily be retrieve. Second of all since he got into the Beta via an invite tied to his Email I'm sure he could easily request they resend the invite as it's also tied to his B.Net account.
As for his Email his should be able to recover to password as I've forgetten my Email password before and was able to recover it. Auto login is nice but when you don't have to type the Password in for like 5+ month you can forget what it was, especially if you don't use the same password for everything.
In regards to the WoW character .
That video seemed a bit staged as he came back a little to quick after she deleted it. Also if someone had that kind of temper to snap so quickly I think they'd be a prime canidate for domestic violence suspect. He hardle swears and goes imidetly to smashing his computer. That kind of temper I would find it hard to believe he hasn't smacked his girl friend around a little and she'd be more afraid of pissing him off.
But assuming my limited examination of the video and the psycology of individuals invovled it still makes no sense for him to smash the computer. You can retrieve deleted WoW characters and items. I use to play WoW many years ago and I had my account hacked where they sold all my character's items and gave to gold away, most likely to a gold farmering account. Anyway I submitted a petition and was able to get my stuff back a few weeks later. While none of my characters were deleted I have heard of people who were able to retrieve deleted characters.
Again people seem to think "delete" is permenant. The key factor though is time as the sooner you try to recover it the better the odds are you will be able to. Especially in this case where Blizzard would easily have backup copies of the character on file still.
Final Thoughts.
In closing people in incidents like these are right to break up with the other person over this. Those people have serious mental problems for acting that why. It's no different then if say the girl friend of a guy who has a vintage car that he spent hours working and the girl was "jealous" of it so she smashed the windows or poured sugar in the gas tank. If they have such rage issues that they lash out like that it's often the early warning signs of a more serious mental problem and maybe likely one day turn on you and it becomes your head instead of your car window that they are smashing in.
Second which is something you hear all the time, which is NEVER give your password out to ANYONE!!! Especially someone you are dating. First off their is NO REASON they need to know it, unless you want them to access it for you. And second the "If you trust me you would tell me." type arguement is a TRAP! The reason it's a trap is again there is NO REASON for them to have it. Odds are they want it becames of their own insecurity issues or as a means of maintaining some form of levage over you.
