I've been looking at some of the Downloadable maps. There was a map that was last up-dated a couple of weeks after the game was first launched. It was called SoaSE Campain Map. It had 3 Maps but each one had the number 1 player as diffrent ones of the Factions. This was a map base on the idea that Earth and it's cloest Star Systems are the terratories of the Trade Order. Vasari had taken control of the star systems around it. and in one corner the Advent had taken. This was suppose to be what was happening base on the Story and Lore and the assumtions of what the war looked like.  It doesn't work on Diplomacy. I would like to see our currently more experanced players who now are both more experanced as Galaxie Smiths and Players that we could play with Dipomacy. That would also represent what the terratories look like after 25 Years of War. I hope to see a good response to this because I would like to try it. Aspieicially for on-line play.

emplear, download AND run my map updater v2.01 from either my map updater thread or my mod updater thread.

it will either report that your sins version is wrong (either delete the targetsinsver.txt or edit the first line to read 1.1.9)

OR it will work and then you click on the find galaxy files button, it then looks in the user space area AND the program files sins folder for galaxy files and builds an internal list, then click on the fix found files button, the map updater first reads the map into memory, then looks at the mapversion info,if the map is NOT the current version number it then selects the correct updating instructions for the map version and updates the map, but if the map is the current version it skips the map.

unless you have several hundred/thousand maps it should complete the run within 10 minutes
