Subscriber Skin?

Hey, where did the subscriber skin called Blue OS come from? It shows on the new site, but not on the old. It is a nice skin, but there was no announcement? Did I miss something?

It seems to date older than WC Select, but has a Vista substyle and works fine on 7.

Strange that it don't show up on the old site under subscriber skins.

I can't seem to login to the site over there. :annoyed: No error, no "username/password doesn't match/invalid," nothing. Just does it's little thing, the box goes away, and it still says Login at the top, rawr.

That's what I've been using, but it just won't log me in. I hope the new login thingie can be fixed so it'll tell us what the problem is (invalid user name, wrong pass, etc). I've tried with both my email and user name and neither work and I'm getting no feedback as to why it's not working.

I wonder if the new site is only working with IE at present.  That's is what I use and having no problems with signing in.:S

If you are using IE 8 try it in compatibility mode.  Worth a try.

ie8 works fine in plain ie8 mode for me, Philly...downloaded, no problems.

Sorry Bebi, I guess I figured if it worked for me using Firefox 3.6.3, it would work for you.

Maybe it's a cookie thing? or some other browser setting interfering? Other than that... I got nuthin'.

Maybe Island Dog will sniff out this post with a possible answer. :dog:

for Bebi Bulma: can you please try clearing your cookies in your browser and try logging in again to wincustomizetest?  I'm think your issue must be cookie related, if that doesn't fix it maybe its some option you have turned on in cookie management?  

 

If you wipe cookies and it still wont let you login let me know and we can see what else it could be.  

 

Also the new skin was given to me to put up by Island Dog :)

Might I ask as to why it was never announced, as subscriber skins usually are? And why is it not available on the old site?

Just login to old site then open new tab,should work it logged me in without me having to  fill out any nonsense :grin:

Cleared the cookies for the test site, opened it again and I was already logged in. o_O Found the skin too.

Yeah, this is a new WC subscriber skin that was meant for launch day.  However, since that was pushed back I didn't bother posting news until we get the new site going.  :)

 this actually makes sense, we changed the cookie from the test site to use the general cookie across all other SD sites (including the forums and old WC).  The reason you couldn't login was you still had that old cookie mucking up things.
