Did You Hear About This on the News?

Of course not, because this involves the violent tactics of progressives and their campaign to turn America into a socialist state.

Link

"Allee Bautsch, chief campaign fundraiser for Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal, and her boyfriend Joe Brown, were savagely beaten Friday night in New Orleans after leaving a Republican party fundraising dinner by a group of thugs who reportedly targeted the couple because they were wearing Sarah Palin pins.

Bautch’s leg was broken and Brown incurred a broken jaw and nose as well as a concussion.

The Hayride reports that a source who visited Bautsch at the hospital the day after the attack says they were told the couple was attacked for wearing Palin buttons:"

Just imagine how the media would have reacted if this was involving the Tea Party.  But once again, this is violence against the GOP, so it doesn't matter.

How does one knows they were targeted for wearing Palin buttons?

I mean, there are plenty of (bad, as in "unjustified") reasons why someone would beat up to young people.

Also, do you have another news source than a religiously-driven news source?

To this date not a single video or audio has been provided to prove Tea Partyers said racial comments to those Democrat Senators a few weeks ago yet the media claims it happened.  How does one know they said anything racist?

It's conceivable that the people attacked in this story heard the attackers state something related to the Palin pins. Are you calling them liars? Can you prove it was not or that they are lying?

Including wearing Palin pins right?

Google can provide a few non-religious links not that you actually care about that. In the end they are taking advantage of the situation to blame Democrats right? Democrats who happen to protesting in the area at the time.

Read about the progressive protests outside and it's pretty obvious.

Looks like now it might not have been pins, but no doubt it was politically motivated.

I kind of like the Breitbart story on how Obamabots are going to try to sabotage the Tea Party Movement: http://www.breitbart.com/article.php?id=D9F1PU2O0&show_article=1

Its tough to find news like this out there in the state run media... but yeah, I did see it. When Republicans are hospitalized after leaving a fundraiser due to political violence its far less important than several unsubstantiated uses of the N-word by tea party members.

Or it was a group of drunk people looking to make trouble.

You are all jumping the gun.

Because somebody seems to have been able to read the mind of the assaulters and know it has been politically motivated. These people got beaten up, and every single republican is just happy to claim it was politically-motivated, as a proof of how evilzzzzzzzzz the democrats are.

Remember the red herring about an Obama supporter mutilating a republican volounteer? You were quite happy back then to claim that the Dems were the real monster (adding the fact that it was a white woman being assaulted by a Dangerous Black Man tm was icing on the cake)

Right. But just because somebody wearing Palin pins is attacked (which, as it is considered now, is maybe not the case) doesn't mean that the attack was provoked by wearing these pins.

Robbery, rape, drunkness, personnal grudge, etc... Are all reasons to attack somebody (again, I don't say these are good motivations)

I never heard that one, I heard about the man that got his finger bitten off by an Obama supporter. I heard and saw the video of a democrat shoving a reporter to the ground. There is a posting for people to disrupt tea party events by posing as tea party goes, on democrat websites. Ther was the black man beaten up by SEIU people. All of that was in the news.

How many times have the other side not jumped the gun but lied outright to get their point across? How about the time at a tea party even where eggs were thrown at Tea Party bus and it was called in by the people that threw the eggs and blaimed breitbart, only he was filming it happen. OOPS. filing a false police report is still criminal right? Or the democrat that slashed the tires of his own vehicle and tried to blame it on repbulicans only to have the security camera catch him doing it.

I don't hear of conservatives doing any of this, I dont hear of republicans doing any of this. But I do see, hear, and read about liberals, and democrats doing these illegal things. People shoot bulletts through a window of a republican office and it hardly is news but that same week someone did not shout the N word at the senator and that was news for a week.

And you're looking for excuses. It seems neither of us is willing to accept either. Then again I am open to any possibility. You on the other hand just want it to be anything but politicaly motivated.

Happy? Poor choice of words. This does not make anyone happy. But you seem to wanna ignore the ones who were assulted and instead you are dismissing them as possible liars. You never even gave them a chance. You branded them liars from the start. And you claim we are trying to prove Democrats are evil? Sounds the other way around my friend.

Never heard of that one but I am still waiting for video or audio proof of the racist Tea Partyers. A lot of talk about how they are racist and evil but I have yet to see any proof of that. Sounds like the demonization of Conservatives and/or Republicans. Also sound like hypocrisy.

That 'red herring' you refer to was very quickly recognized as a hoax perpetrated by the victim, exposed by 'right-wingers' no less.

The point is that if this were two Democrat staffers who'd been put in the hospital by a brutal beating immediately following a political event, the MSM would be blaring the speculation about political motivation at the top of their lungs.  They've done it countless times already.  And once it turned out in fact to be not politically motivated, the important thing would be the 'issue' the speculation raised.

Most of us, with due respect to ID, are not jumping to conclusions.  Pointing out the silence of the MSM about the event is not the same thing.

Bad excuse.  The media was taking pictures the whole time and even got the congresspeople as they were walking.  So they have film and audio of 99% of their walk, yet none of the incidents?  of course it could just be a coincidence that they managed to miss them.  And it could be a coincidence that a meteor landed softly about the time the dinosaurs all decided to die.

No link, but I believe she's referring to the gal who had the 'B' carved on her face (by herself).

Exactly.

I was looking for the word to use. Is "mutilation" the right word for carving somebody's face? (this is a 100% no-sarcastic comment. I am not sure of my english about that one)

Yes, or sometimes they use disfigurement.  It usually is a matter of degrees with mutilation being more severe of the 2.

Update:

"I just had a very interesting and somewhat confusing conversation with New Orleans Police Department Public Information Officer Bob Young.

Mr. Young confirmed to me that the New Orleans police had indeed taken statements from both of the victims, Jindal aide Allee Bautsch and her boyfriend, Joe [Brown]. He confirmed that in those statements, the victims reported that their assailants had indeed hurled “insults” at them, and the “insults” were, and I quote, “of a political nature”."

Now this I expected.  Always blame your opponents for your sins, to deflect criticism from yourself.

Typical liberal response.

Ain't you all disapointed that the your political opponents aren't monsters after all?

I stand by my initial comment: you all jumped on this, quite happy to decry the media bias and the sad plight the Tea Partiers/Palin fans are going through. I stepped in to say: "Nothing links this to political", and accused me of not being open minded.

You all saw what you wanted to see. I really wonder who lacks objectivity. In the end, your political climate isn't my fight. I am just an outsider observer. I am influenced by it to a level you don't seem to care, but it's not my fight.
