Welcome to The Gentlemen. We are a small clan that played frequently as friends and thought of making an official clan for ourselves. There were so many players that kept dropping the game, so we wanted to do whatever we can to retain as many players as possible.

I made a new thread for the clan because Janook seems to be MIA at the moment. I am not sure if he will be returning, we all hope for his eventual return to Demigod. (Actually, I see him on vent right now but he's not replying to me so I'm not sure if he's actually there...)

I feel as though I'm missing some people, but whatever. How does that look?

 


 

Ages back (over 3 months ago I think) I suggested a few of my dg friends add a tag to their names.  I wanted to call us "TS" (team shreddy ).  I also suggested to them they could add a "_demon" tag to their names (e.g. howboutnoooo_demon ).  

They honestly weren't having any of it.     They argued against me on this because they thought this would make it even harder for us to get into games as we'd look seriously premade.  

Instead I have a skype list of dg players that are for all intents and purposes could be called a "clan" at a push, but instead I guess we decided to keep it really informal.

But yeah, more clans would be a good thing I think.  More competition would always be a good.

I'm starting to notice less people playing and more people joining to chat.

We all know how much I love to chat.

So even if you don't want to play, just come and talk to us. Well.. more like talk to me.

irek has been popping in, and while he may sound scary in the forums, he's actually quite nice on vent. I was startled myself. I quite enjoy his addition.

Teseer also popped up today and he was the opposite :ninja: , but still endearing at the same time. I hope I shall get to encounter him more often in the future.

I also believe shred_demon should come join more often. I was at school when you came on, but I hopped in to spy on you guys and I was very jealous.

With that said, we welcome all challenges and if you want a serious game, we'll give you a serious game. Don't be surprised if we win by a large margin :grin:

I'm pretty sure I said "serious." QoT is definitely not "serious" in my books.

If you want Teseer we can set up a "serious" match, but don't be surprised if your face starts pouring rain along with your TB.

Shane also needs to stop doing that funny stuff that only works against clueless people.

Infallibility is a pretty sweet gig if you can get it. 

Do you know what would make the Gentlemen worthy of their name?  If each member of the guild made a step-by-step guide to the DG and build that they consider their strongest, complete with replays, and each one was posted with links to the others on these forums. 

That would actually be interesting reading for the rest of us.

Any game where ninki is Occulus isn't serious, and Janook is pretty good with QoT but he was going auto attack build for some reason and I went pure ice tb with renewal for stuns.  If we don't play silly characters people usually only want to play if it's all random.

I think Janook has some of his builds posted already.  Personally, I'm good with Reg and maybe DA, but I'm second place to someone in GM with everyone else.  I'm sure ninki wouldn't mind writing up a few builds

My Occulus is fine thank you very much. More viable than your DA if you want to make that comparison.

I knew we were not heading in the serious direction when you were not Orcuning it.
