3v3 VS 1v1
heres a very interesting topic for you.
The people who think beating some one else in a 1v1 proves that there better then some one else who is awsome in 3v3s. its completely stupid logic. 1v1 ones have different strategies then 3v3s.

Completely true. It's pathetic when I call someone out for being an idiot in a 3v3 and then they think a 1v1 will prove they are not an idiot at 3v3s... :/ THEY HAVE COMPLETELY DIFFERENT STRATEGIES!!!
um... this is a no brainer imo. Suppose you play a fantastic support Sedna on a 3v3, who exactly will you support for on a 1v1? Not that you won't win, you'll just not go for support build. Different game different build. That's true even if you pay two 3v3s because it all depends on DGs on your side AND their playstyle AS WELL AS on the DGs on opponent's side AND their playstyle.
...This is kind of true with...any game?
The number of players always changes how you play. ![]()
Definitely true with all games Teseer. At least in my experience.
anyone truly awesome @ 3v3's should be able to learn most of the tricks of 1v1 in a couple games tho. Many are identical tricks from before, some are new (like speed stacking early to get flags / creeps faster and completely avoiding battle until much later). I know I've personally learned several things from 1v1 that I didn't know from 3v3 and it made me a better 3v3 player (and vice versa).
I don't know if I would say that they're a much better player in that case, but, I will say I've generally learned the absolute most when I lose a 1v1 game.
true awesome players are good at anything and every situation.
Even making forum posts!
In a lot of RTS games I find that 1v1 players are good at all game types and the team players sometimes struggle with 1v1. Not a rule obviously, just seems to be the case.
I wouldn't really call Demigod a RTS though and I do agree with you except in Demigod's case.
yes, Demigod isn't close to an RTS really. I just have nothing else to go on so that is what I used as a point of reference.
