Double/Ghost image under dock icons, Weather Docklet stops

I've found these same issues on multiple computers (same WinXP-SP3, different hardware).
I'm slowly getting responses from Stardock support (Ticket submited 3/26/2010).
Since the resolution will help other users with the same issue, I'm posting it as it comes in from Stardock.

ObjectDock Issues (Version 1.90, and 2.0 Plus):

1. Double Image - The icons sometimes get their resting image stuck on the background. Also the background transparency goes black over 1/3 of the object dock. Note: This issue is in swing mode.

2. Weather Docklet Stops - When 1st launching Objectdock, the weather docklet works correctly, but after about 6 hrs, the weather docklet's feed stops ("feed not available") and hitting the "Update" button does NOT kick start it.

MY UPDATE 4/9/10: Objectdock shows status "Installed" on Impulse's "My Software" tab with a "Last Updated" date of 12/9/2008. ObjectDock's About tab shows: Version 1.90, Build 534

4/10/10 STARDOCK RESPONSE - Curt Hendzell: Which version of Object Dock is in use here? I don't see it listed on the account.

MY UPDATE 4/11/10: Does it not show up in the SDSupportTool.exe log file? It shows status "Installed" on Impulse's "My Software" tab with a "Last Updated" date of 12/9/2008.
ObjectDock's About tab shows: Version 1.90, Build 534. Furthermore, I just bought the upgrade to ObjectDock Plus 2.0 Beta, but it demonstrates the same issue.

4/10/10 STARDOCK RESPONSE - Curt Hendzell: The latest builds are 535 and 536 for the Pro and Free version respectively, so it appears you are using an older build. Also, many issues with ObjectDock are addressed in the latest 2.0 beta release.

MY UPDATE 4/11/10: I don't know what you mean... I used Impulse to download and install the latest ObjectDock. What it gave me is what's installed. So which version do I need and how do I get it?

4/20/10 STARDOCK RESPONSE - Curt Hendzell: Unfortunately it seems like the applications are simply not going to work for you. I have refunded the order to your credit card. Please let me know whether this resolves your problem or if you have any additional questions.

MY UPDATE 4/20/10: Your response doesn't exactly address my question. I would like an explanation or solution, not only for myself, but to help anyone else with this same issue.
