The Bachelorette Party of the Year

My cousin Melissa and I are best friends, and I am the maid of honor in her wedding.  I know I've brought this up before on here, but I'm throwing her a bachelorette party in June and it was orginally going to be a Twilight themed murder mystery party.  However, I have come up with an even better idea for her bachelorette party that will make it the bachelorette party of the year. 

Instead of a murder mystery, I am going to make a movie premiered themed party on the same night that Eclipse is coming out in theaters.  Melissa loves the Twilight series, so ofcourse she is super excited about this idea.  My sister, who used to be a party planner, is helping me through this party by donating a ton of Twilight gear for us to use as prizes or party favors.  Her job allows her to get a ton of really nice Twilight stuff for free, so she is giving us the hook up. 

My cousin works in a really nice hotel, so we are going to use one of their smaller ball rooms to have the party in.  We are going to make the invitations look like backstage passes and we are going to hand out these to everyone who comes (like they actually do at real movie premieres).  We are also going to raffle off some of the nicer Twilight gear that we have at the party to raise money for Melissa's honeymoon.  Cool idea, huh?!  I am going to make a homemade candy bouquet to use for both food and decoration.  Melissa and I actually went out shopping for a nice dress to wear to the party the other day, and I found a cute one that I will probably wear punk shoes with.  I'm so excited for this!  Peace.
