Can we fix Invalid Gamestate ?

I am just a casual player, a win for me is hard fought - 2 wins today taken away by folks using the invalid gamestate bug.

Any update on fixing or preventing this ? ..

Ye they still occur after almost 1 year. Its so frustrating and it actually rewards leavers since the game wont count. (I usually get 1 when someone leaves)
