Well I'll Be Damned, More Updates Are Coming...

Since the developers have abandoned the betterment of this game i.e. patches to fix the invalid states, lobby crashes, more maps etc...ect...why would anyone ever want to purchase another game from this company again based off this?  If that's the way it is with this game, who's say they wouldn't treat any other game they make the same?  My two cents.

Stardock did alot of work, post release, for multiplayer.

We got 2 new demigods for free (but there was artwork of them during beta. so they were in the works since then.)

It's been a long time since the game came out and I imagine there are not many new purchasers, so financially (GPG is a buisness afterall) there's probably not much incentive.

GPG is an independent company (I believe) so there's no one but themselves to tell them not to post to us about the state of demigod. It seems to me Demigod was a side project, a template for sup com 2 (graphically/map wise). But I bought it as a full game. I wont buy another GPG game. Demigod could have been something, it could have been a contender but now it's almost nothing.

"This company" being Gas Powered Games?  Not sure why they would. ^_^   Though personally I think DG's pretty good as-is...    But if you mean Stardock (since these forums are part of Stardock's forums), then it would be because Stardock went way above and beyond what they needed to do for Demigod, seeing as they're not even the only publisher of the game and still devoted time and money to getting some things fixed.
