Hello,
Newbie here. I just installed the free version and absolutely love it.
I made a cursor from my logo but when I click on an effect and then hit apply nothing happens.
Am I doing something wrong?
No,it's just a limitation of the free version.
The Plus version gives you effects,trails,sounds and other useful settings such as resizing and recoloring.Totally worth the money.

I have another question though: will I be able to make a cursor for a friend that they can use without actually having the program?
nope they have to have cursorfx installed, it can be a free version(for them just to use your cursor)
Bummer! I know none of my friends will want to download a program just for a cursor.
Even if it's free. Oh well...at least I can enjoy it.
But can anyone recommend a program I can create cursors for other friends?
I tried a few but the cursors were all too small and I was told that Windows resizes them.
It's hard to recommend another program when CursorFX is the pinnacle of cursor creation..... everything else is just an "also-ran".
You just have to convince your friends of that too....
