DesktopX and DesktopX Professional both showing installed in Impulse...

Do I need to Uninstall the free one?

The subject pretty much sums it up, but I guess I'll repeat for clarity.  I bought the DesktopX pro version, along with several others all at once. I am not sure if I just went down the list and installed Everything availabe at the time through Impulse, of if both of these installs are necessary for the "package" to work.

Should I just uninstall the free one? or uninstall both and reinstall Pro?  or simply leave it like it is and sacrifice a chicken to the gods to invoke otherworldly protection from personal blunders? :rofl:

That's your best course of action. It won't hurt anything and Impulse will  get it all straightened out eventually.

About that chicken...don't forget the mashed potatoes and gravy.:drool:

I would leave it, but know this. There will be a DesktopX install in C:/Program Files/Stardock/DesktopX.

This is the Pro install.

There is another install in C:/Program Files/Stardock/Object Desktop/DesktopX.

This is the non-Pro install. So make a shortcut to the first one (Pro) on your desktop to be certain you use the right one.
