CXP vs CFX 

 Ok there are two reasons for this post you all know I build a decent amount of cursors  , so while I know this qestion has been asked more than once but now even further down the road I felt it worth asking again.

Ok so here we go quick pole so who is using Cursor FX and who is using Cursor XP ?

QUESTION #1

  So if would please let me know what you use . I have done several with both types and then uploaded as a zip . I know that if done in Cursor XP then Cursor FX can open them but the same is not true in reverse as CXP can not open a CFX theme. So the question is do I (we) do both and zip them up ,( Which is what I am doing on the cursor I will upload tomorrow.) or do a CXP theme since CFX would open it or ...............?

QUESTION #2

  As I mentioned above tomorrow (probably ) I will be uploading a new cursor Svelte to go with vStylers's immaculate windowblind of the same name . Now I have already had serveral requests for a CXP version wich I will do but with my recent PC switch I no longer have a  working version of CXP so who do I ask or how can I get an achive of CXP?

I appreciate your responses very much so please let me know as I hope it will help both myself and other cusor builders in finding a standard to work with.

CFX, Harley. Why not ask Jafo or Snowy (he has more stuff than anyone. SD included). Just an idea...

I use CursorXP Plus. And if I knew how to convert FX cursors over to XP cursors that would be fine and dandy and then I could just do this with the ones I'd like to use. So a short tutorial would come in handy. ;) I never felt the need to change over to FX since my XP worked just fine and I don't use all the other effects that much even with XP...not that they aren't cool...I'm usually to busy to even notice...the animations that come with the cursors are cool enough.

But whenever you need a tester for XP Harley send them right along! ;)

Oh! And if FX can open and use XP cursors I would just do it for XP...unless of course there is something about the XP cursor that wouldn't allow FX to use all aspects of it...then I guess I would have to do both. I personally like be able to skin something that all OS's can use which is why I like OD and Winstep for skinning.

1st thank you all very much

2nd WG 1st  I was using both(CFX free version which is what I still run today mainly because I spend a ton of time perfecting my animations so did not need to add any effects) when on XP and bost would load at start up then I  would shut down which ever one I was not building with through task manger but I always opened task manger in XP anyway to shut down uneeded services and I was building cursors.

3rd http://www.sendspace.com/file/t4gbgv I need to know if the animations for the directional states left,right ,up down diags  loop or not.

or better yet if you could just list the states and if they loop or not (they should all be the same but I cant test it.

Thank you and BTW if you dont use any of the effects  from CXP you could use the free version of CFX but note that on XP after hitting the shut down or logg off button in the start menu the cursor will disappear when the shutdown,restart ,standy window pops up but other than that it will work fine! :) ;)

Everything seems to work ok except for this....

....whenever I mouse over pretty much everything it shoots out to the right.
