Vasari Phase gate pact?

Hi.

I was wondering in the future if their is going to be a Vasari phase gate pact (if they are adding any post-content in). e.g allow other factions to use Vasari phase gates when they are allied.

I think it would be really good feature and allow other allied factions the maneuverability, making the factions more maneuverable when allied with Vassari.

What do you think, would it be a good idea?

would be a cool idea yes

also make for a great double cross as the vasari can then trap former allies fleets in one area and attack their planets in other areas

Phase mastery is the Vasari's greatest strength.  If they gave it up to allies, they'd have almost no edge left.

The pacts all involve general things that are shared by all races.  Specific things like phase gate sharing don't really fit the design of pacts.  However, a seperate research that allows allies to share these makes sense.  Advent should get the artifact sharing research people want as well, seeing as Advent and Visari got shorted one new research in Diplomacy compared to TEC.

I think the TEC missile pact and Visari repair pact should be switched; TEC is actually better at repairing in-gme, and Visari are the missile masters.  If Ironclad is open to major changes I also think the tactical pact should be junked in favour of something else.  There's nothing about Visari design that really suggests they'd be interested on focusing on how to support more turrets and hanger bays, nor is it a very useful pact beyond getting two superweapons at one planet.  Something about starbases would be nice.
