https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/378243

Later today Ironclad Games and Stardock Entertainment are planning to release the latest updates for Sins of a Solar Empire, Sins of a Solar Empire - Entrenchment and Sins of a Solar Empire - Diplomacy/Trinity.  This is a small update, but resolves a long-standing desync/crash issue that's been causing pain to players.

As always, check your Impulse client for the update.

NOTE: This update will invalidate your save games

All:

+ This update fixes the most common desync and crash bug in each of the Sins games. Resolving this issue was a long time coming due to how difficult it was to track down, so we want to give special thanks to the following players for all their help -

  • Warren Tabada
  • Jordan Rideout
  • Kyle Leppert
  • Landon DePasquale
  • Frank Galati
  • Ben Horsley
  • Quarantine
  • Tristan Halverson

Sins of a Solar Empire - Diplomacy/Trinity:

Interface -

+ Trinity clients will now properly be labled on the main menu.
+ Play Entrenchment and Play Sins buttons now function properly and exist in the main menu.

Misc. -

+ Fixed a bug where certain treaties would break if the relationship between two players were negative and they were humans.

The "AI relationship bonus" factor on diplomacy tooltips remains always zero since this patch. I played some 6-7 hours long matches and it never changed. Is it intended?

trigorin, from what I remember in other posts, the AI relationship bonus is to ONLY apply between 2 or more AI's to give the AI's a bit of a boost with each other compared with human/AI & human/human so that the AI's have a better chance of forming an alliance against the humans/ other AI alliances.

No, as I know this factor is applied by AI players towards human player only. But now it is always 0 between each players.
